Sales Co-ordinator
Office-based, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Role Overview:
As Sales Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring seamless processing of customer orders from quotation to delivery. You will be the first point of contact for sales queries, maintaining excellent customer relationships while upholding the company’s quality standards.
A proactive and detail-oriented team player, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple tasks, and have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handle sales and customer service emails and calls, escalating issues where needed.
- Prepare customer quotations and process orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, discounts, and product codes.
- Manage contract schedules for key accounts and monitor delivery timelines.
- Respond to customer queries regarding delays, deliveries, and other concerns.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve sales, query, and delivery issues efficiently.
- Arrange worldwide despatch of goods via courier and freight services.
- Maintain sales data, including KPIs, weekly revenue figures, and contract updates.
- Input data into CRM and in-house IT systems while maintaining accurate sales files.
- Provide after-sales support as required.
Additional Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls and welcome office visitors.
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, managing post, and maintaining sales files (including proof of international deliveries).
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with SAGE 50 is desirable.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively in a team setting.
